EVENT: Retreat

The Pause Within

A retreat for rest, breath, gentle movement and embodied renewal.

30 Oct — 1 Nov 2026
Hunter Valley NSW

A deeply supported gathering where you can rest, settle into your body, and return to yourself.

Rest isn’t indulgent. It’s essential.
When life asks you to keep going, this is an invitation
to pause, soften and receive support.

The Pause Within offers a space to step out of the usual rhythm and reconnect with yourself through rest, breath and gentle movement.
For many women, this becomes more than a weekend away — it marks the beginning of a new relationship with support.

This retreat may be for you if you’re…

Longing for a different rhythm — one that allows your body to slow down and be supported.

✨ Experience genuine rest in your body, not just time away.
✨ Reconnect with your body through breath and gentle movement.
✨ Be held within a small, supportive gathering where you don’t have to hold everything and everyone together.

Rest. Reconnect. Restore.

  • Deep rest & spaciousness

Unstructured time to simply be — to rest, float, journal or sit quietly with a cuppa.

  • Gentle movement & embodied practices

Somatic sessions weaving Feldenkrais®, breath and nervous system support to help your body settle and soften.

  • Nourishment on every level

Fresh, wholesome meals. Optional massage and facials available for deeper replenishment.

A Glimpse of the Retreat Experience

You arrive and begin to notice the shift — the pace slows, your breath eases, your body has space to land. There’s nothing you need to do, and no one you need to take care of.

As the days unfold, you’re gently guided through movement, rest and quiet connection. You begin to sense where your body is holding, where it can soften, where support is already present.

There is time and space between sessions to rest, walk, swim or simply be.

Something begins to settle. Not through effort, but through allowing.

You leave with a felt sense of what it means to be supported — and how to return to that, again and again.

Our morning session will be followed by lunch, after which we’ll return to the studio for the afternoon program.

Later in the afternoon there will be time for personal rest and renewal. You may choose to float or swim, enjoy the steam room, take a walk, or simply rest. Massage and beauty treatments are also available onsite as an optional extra (additional fee applies).

In the evening we’ll gather for a private wine tasting at 6pm, followed by a relaxed dinner together.

After dinner you may wish to continue the evening with conversation in the lounge or on the outdoor deck, weather permitting.

While there is a gentle structure to the day, there is always space to follow what your body most needs — whether that’s movement, connection, or quiet rest.

    Optional Massage & Beauty Treatments:

Massage and beauty treatments are available onsite and may be booked directly with the venue for an additional fee.

    What is Feldenkrais®?:

Feldenkrais® builds awareness through movement. It is a somatic (body-centred) approach that uses guided attention, breath and gentle movement- often lying on a mat.

Through these practices you learn to move with greater awareness, ease and efficiency while remaining present to your experience.

These practices support wellbeing, resilience and self-awareness.
