Where movement begins- and ease follows.
Where does movement begin?
Before the step, the stretch, or the shift, there’s something quieter—something that comes first.
A signal. A subtle impulse. A point of initiation.
We rarely notice it in our daily lives. Most of us move out of habit (unconsciously), without sensing what sets things in motion. And when life feels fast or demanding, we often default to pushing through—bracing ourselves, tightening, doing more.
But what if true support doesn’t come from holding everything together?
What if support comes from the way we begin?
The power of small beginnings
In my current class series, Self-Sourced Support: The Initiation Point, we explore these questions through gentle, guided movement.
You’ll be invited to slow down and sense what moves first.
Does the movement begin in your shoulder? Your breath? Your eyes?
Or somewhere deeper—at your centre?
The answers are often surprising.
When we start to observe where movement originates, new pathways of ease, coordination, and clarity open up.
You might begin to notice:
🌀 Less muscular effort and more flow
🌀 A quieter, more regulated nervous system
🌀 Greater connection between breath, coordination and intention
🌀 A felt sense of being supported—from the inside out
This isn’t about fixing your posture or achieving perfect alignment.
It’s about reconnecting with your body's natural intelligence, and discovering how even the smallest shift can change the quality of everything that follows.
Self-sourced, not self-forced
Self-sourced support is not a strategy—it’s a lived experience.
It means tuning in to your own sensory cues. It means letting go of effort that’s no longer needed. It means allowing movement to emerge rather than forcing it to happen.
Through this lens, movement becomes less about exercise and more about presence.
Each class offers a space to explore comfort over discomfort, ease over effort, and movement that begins where you begin.
If you're craving a reset—for your body, your breath, your nervous system—these classes may be for you.
